About USA Obstacle Course Racing

United States Obstacle Course Racing (USAOCR) is the national governing body for obstacle course racing and related sports in the United States of America and is a member of USA Pentathlon. We are a not for profit organization with our national office in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The mission of USA Obstacle Course Racing is to promote the sport of Obstacle Course Racing and it's related sports and disciplines throughout the United States, to lead the sport of Obstacle Course Racing, and meet the requirements as specified by the United States Olympic Committee and the International Obstacle Sports Federation, OSF.


USAOCR exists to represent the needs of the sport through athlete member representation and engagement. Essential functions are to facilitate safer, fairer races at a lower cost. This includes event safety and medical standards, rule enforcement and comprehensive insurance at affordable rates.
